Announcing the Kevin Eastman Fan Club, a Unique Experience for True Fans of Eastman and the TMNT
It’s been 31 years since Kevin Eastman and partner Peter Laird co-created the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The TMNT, as everyone knows, went on to become one of the most successful entertainment empires of the last few decades, spawning multiple comics series, TV shows and films, and countless merchandise.
But Eastman has never slowed down—in addition to the TMNT, which he continues to guide to this day, he’s created numerous other comics stories with talented artists. (Oh, and he saved Heavy Metal magazine while he was at it!)
That’s why we’re proud to announce a long overdue destination for the legions of Eastman fans around the world: the official Kevin Eastman Fan Club. With the relaunch of his website, KevinEastmanStudios.com, Kevin is adding a members’ section where he’ll be sharing rare and archival goodies with those who know and love his work.
For club members, Kevin will release digital downloads of many of his titles—among them Underwhere, Ronin Bebop, Kevin’s Artobiography—in regular installments.
Club members will be able to buy the variant covers and prints Kevin has created for his convention appearances around the world over the last two years—an unprecedented opportunity for collectors to get exclusive access to signed works by Kevin that were otherwise only available to convention attendees. Future Fan Club offerings include a complete pictorial inventory of his personal collection of TMNT collectibles—over 7,000 pieces—with notes from him.
Membership will have its privileges, as well. Fan club members will be offered special discounts in the main website shopping cart too and the opportunity to buy collectibles fromTeamEastman convention appearances at a discount. Simply for being in the club, members will automatically be entered into drawings to win original artwork and collectibles. And beginning with future issues of the current Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, IDW will produce a special edition with a variant cover available only to fan club members through the site.
The first 200 who sign up will receive a copy of the limited edition SDCC 2014 TMNT book signed by Kevin.
Membership to the Kevin Eastman Fan Club is a reasonable $30 for six months or $50 for a year.
Three decades into an amazing journey, Turtlemania and Kevin Eastman are still going strong—join the Kevin Eastman Fan Club to experience the world of this legendary comics creator as you’ve never seen it before.
