Will the annuals ever be included with the regular trades? I think that would be optimal, but it seems unlikely. For the most part, I don’t want to have an annual as a hardcover extended edition and not have something released in paperback. The 2012 annual was great because is it was long/thick enough to fit next to my other trades, but ultimately, it would of just been better to include it with the ongoing trades. I’d even have paid more for one of those.

I doubt they’ll ever include them with the regular trades but they could create a TPB down the road with multiple Annuals.

I checked Diamond’s schedule for next week, and I don’t think the 2014 annual is on there. Has IDW mentioned a delay or anything? Thanks!

Just got word from IDW that Kevin is only about halfway through inking this issue (as of today-4/4). Estimate is a late May/early June release.

This should be a great issue! cannot wait! Renet is back. one of the odder characters from the original series. i like how this time scepter seems to be a mix of the old and the 3rd movie. should be another great Eastman book!

    OOOOH!!! Renet!!!
I’ve always been a fan of the time travel stories in the old books. But I’m glad they’re using the time scepter from the III movie. As usual, I love that they’re gathering concepts from different incarnations as well as adding their own ideas. The respect they have for the franchise’s rich history is amazing.
