SUMMARY:

magazine size (7 1/2″ x 10 15/16″), glossy cover; inside front cover signed by Kevin Eastman & Peter Laird in 1984; accompanied by signed & notarized letter of provenance. Very low grade with extensive moisture damage, especially to front & back covers causing cover warping; yellow pages; heavy spine damage that breaks color; front & back cover dents/creases; cover tear top front cover; extensive color touch-up with black marker on both front and back covers.

One of two signed copies that were given to Bill Paarlberg & Phillip Augusta (the publishers of “re: Ports” magazine) in 1984 by Kevin Eastman & Peter Laird. This was Phillip Augusta’s copy, which was stored away and received moisture damage over time. Bill Paarlberg’s copy was also damaged by “spraymount,” which he documented in a website article dated April 10, 2008 (re:Ports. Magazine) – “They gave us signed copies of their first comic, and if I had known it was going soon be worth a bazillion bucks I wouldn’t have let spraymount get all over it.”
