A full reproduction of TMNT #1 1st Printing created using the TMNT #1 Production Negatives as the source for all 40 pages and scans of the interior covers from an actual 1st printing in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of TMNT. Presented exactly as it was in 1984 using the original dimensions (10 15/16″ x 7 1/2″), interiors, layout, and material (newsprint interiors / lightweight cover paper) – including the unique printing defects and irregularities. This reproduction was even manufactured using the original machinery models (as much as still possible) – including the presses (Goss Community Offset Press), folding machine, and bindery equipment.

This reproduction of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 First Printing from Mirage Studios was created using the original printing negatives as the source for all forty pages. These negatives are the real deal – used in 1984 to create all 9,275 copies of the First (3,275) and Second (6,000) Printings of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1. Somehow, these relics of comic book history survived the years and, thankfully, still exist today in remarkable condition – perhaps the most significant comic book artifacts to have ever surfaced. Now they have again been used for what they were originally created for – the production of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1.

In celebration and honor of the 40th Anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this reproduction is presented exactly as it was in 1984 using the original dimensions, cover artwork, interiors, layout, and material (newsprint) – including the unique printing defects and irregularities.

Few have the opportunity to see a First Printing of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 in person and, of those, not many actually get to hold one – with a small minority ever able to view the interior pages. However, from this accurate re-creation, the next best thing is in your hands.
