Infestation 2 TMNT #01 (IDW)



Here’s the info. on the variants for Infestation 2 TMNT #1 from IDW.  Available on March 7, 2012.

  1. Cover A (Menton J. Matthews III; a.k.a. menton3) – regular cover shipped in a 4:1 ratio (A:B) in a single order (i.e., if shops order only 1 copy they get Cover A; if they order 4 copies of Cover A they can then purchase one copy of Cover B)
  2. Cover B (Livio Ramondelli) – regular cover shipped in a 4:1 ratio (A:B) in a single order (i.e., shops must order 4 copies of Cover A in order to purchase one copy of Cover B)
  3. Cover RI (Mark Torres) – 10 copy Retailer Incentive “Tentacle Attack” interconnected – connects every Infestation 2 tie-in book (i.e., shops that order 8 copies of Cover A and 2 copies of Cover B get this one free)
  4. RI B Incentive – 25 copy Retailer Incentive TMNT Tattoos – NOTE: there is no variant cover for the RI B incentive for this issue but instead retailers will receive 25 temporary TMNT tattoos for every 25 copies ordered.  How retailers will distribute these to their customers is really up to them.  If your LCS orders a lot of TMNT comics each month then make sure to ask them to include a tattoo with your comics.  However, if your LCS orders fewer than 25 then they won’t be getting these tattoos and you’ll need to look elsewhere for them.

      They now show on my January order as filled so they must be in. I only get shipments once per month so it will be another couple of weeks before I have them in hand. I’ll post pics of them when I get them.

    Did you get any TMNT tattoos of this or infestation 2 #1? I can’t find them anywhere.

      I did receive my tattoos for the Infestation 2 #1 but I haven’t yet received them for the Infestation 2 TMNT #1 25 copy incentive. They aren’t listed as in stock yet for the Infestation 2 TMNT #1 so my guess is they just haven’t yet arrived at the distributor.

          I pre-order all my comics 2 months out when PREVIEWS is released to ensure I get the Retailer Incentives. I use multiple different online sites as well as local shops, depending on who has the best deals each month. I’m pretty sure I got the tattoos from DCBS (Discount Comic Book Service).
