TMNT Official 30th Anniversary Edition #01 – New York Comic Con Exclusive (KES)

The Turtles are going back to where they started…New York City!  This time, they’re headed there via a third installment of the popular TMNT Official 30th Anniversary Edition from Kevin Eastman Studios.  This new edition is being created specifically for the New York Comic Con (NYCC) in New York, NY from October 09-12, 2014 (although Kevin won’t be in attendance at NYCC this year).  Just like the ACCC TMNT exclusive and the CCCC exclusive before that, this NYCC exclusive isn’t associated with IDW.

This TMNT exclusive for the NYCC will be billed as the TMNT Official 30th Anniversary Edition #1.  As was the case with the CCCC & ACCC versions, this edition will have two variant covers and contains artwork by Kevin Eastman.  Check out the brand new Intro Page from this NYCC exclusive for more details.  If you haven’t gotten your hands on the previous two TMNT Official 30th Anniversary Editions, this is your chance.  The NYCC is a huge show and this edition will sell out fast.

The first cover available for the TMNT Official 30th Anniversary Edition #1 is the Regular full-color variant with a cover by Mike DeBalfo.  Mike was the cover artist for TMNT #34 Cover RE Amazing Comic Con as well as the ACCC TMNT exclusive.  Colors are done by colorist Juan Fernandez, inks by Adelso Corona, and the back cover is blank.  This cover is limited to 500 copies and each one is individually (mechanically) numbered.  Cost is $25 each (which includes shipping in the Continental U.S. for pre-sale copies).  ** Mike will be on-site at the show and you can find him at table #AA13. **

The second cover for the TMNT Official 30th Anniversary Edition #1 is the Artist Proof Sketch variant with a black & white version of the same Mike DeBalfo cover art used for the Regular cover.  Inks are done by Adelso Corona and the back cover is blank, just like the Regular cover.  This edition is limited to only 100 copies and each will be individually (mechanically) numbered.  Cost is $75 each (which includes shipping in the Continental U.S. for pre-sale copies).  There will be a select few of these available at the show for sale at Mike’s booth (#AA13).

Both covers (the Regular and Artist Proof Sketch) are available now via pre-show sale while supplies last (covers will ship after the NYCC).  Remaining quantities of both covers will be available for purchase at the New York Comic Con (NYCC) October 09-12, 2014.
