Here’s the info. on the variants for TMNT The Ultimate Collection, Vol. 1 HC from IDW.  Collects TMNT Vol. I (Mirage) #1-7 + Raphael One-Issue Micro-Series (Mirage).  Available on November 23, 2011.

  1. Cover Regular (Kevin Eastman) – regular cover
  2. Cover Limited Edition (Kevin Eastman) – Limited Edition B&W sketch cover (NOTE: previously these were thought to be “Convention Exclusives” available only at the Long Beach Comic Con Oct. 29-30, 2011 and limited to 250.  However, it’s since been clarified by IDW that these are “Limited Editions” with a print run likely less than 500 and available via the IDW web store.)  
  3. Cover IDW Limited RED Label (Kevin Eastman) – IDW Limited RED Label edition; limited to 325 copies ($125 each). The Red Label edition of TMNT: The Ultimate Collection Vol. 1 comes in a custom slipcase, designed to match the exclusive IDW Limited cover. The book is signed by TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman and hand numbered to 325.  Other details include: Mounted signature page signed by TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman, hand-crimped and numbered to 325; Exclusive, custom cover by Kevin Eastman; Vellum title-page overlay; New end pages; Stamped with the IDW Limited Red Foil Imprint; Red satin ribbon bookmark. Available from IDW Limited.
  4. Cover IDW Limited BLACK Label (Kevin Eastman) – IDW Limited BLACK Label edition; limited to 40 copies ($350 each). The Black Label edition of TMNT: The Ultimate Collection Vol. 1 comes with a full-color illustration of one of the four Turtles (limited to 10 of each Turtle) drawn by TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman which is housed in a hardcover portfolio case. The book is signed by Eastman and hand numbered to TEN per character in a custom-designed tray case. Eastman has hand-sketched either Donatello’s bo-staff, Leonardo’s katana, Michelangelo’s nunchuks, or Raphael’s sais on the signature page and colored the bandana of the specific Turtle red in the printed image of the turtle team. Other details include: Mounted signature page signed by TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman, hand-crimped and numbered to TEN per character; Exclusive, custom cover by Kevin Eastman; Vellum title-page overlay; New end pages; Stamped with the IDW Limited Black Foil Imprint; Black satin ribbon bookmark.   5. Cover IDW Limited BLUE Label (Kevin Eastman) – IDW Limited BLUE Label edition; limited to 10 copies ($495 each). The Blue Label edition of TMNT: The Ultimate Collection Vol. 1 comes with a full-color illustration of the entire TMNT team (including Master Splinter) drawn by TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman which is housed in a hardcover portfolio case. The book is signed by Eastman and hand numbered to TEN in a custom-designed tray case. Eastman has hand-sketched all four Turtles’ weapons on the signature page and colored the bandanas of the Turtles red in the printed image of the turtle team.
