Just ordered the red version, its Oct 9th so if you have been waiting there is still some left. Would have been sweet to get the blue or black edition but money is tight and well…I was clearly late to the party. Cool set, pumped to see which turtle I end up with.
Hi Kris. I bought only the Red edition as well. Would be cool to have them all but the book is the item I’m after…the art is just a bonus. I’m looking forward to getting it.
Hope everyone on here comes back to show off what art they received 🙂
Looks freakin amazing, and love Duncan’s work on it. But it’s no surprise that Eastman is greedy. As I know for a fact from someone that worked for him. These are way overpriced just because they are limited on purpose to sell them for a high price.
I’d agree they are expensive but I’m not sure Eastman is any different from other artists in that regard. All the Limited Editions are priced high that I’ve seen.
Eastman sees none of this money. And as someone who has also worked for him, I’d have to say I would disagree with your friend.
Nearly ripped him off of his own IP and didn’t even pay him for the few thousand books he sold.
i want less facts and more opinion from you on this Rich 😉
You in for all 3?
Wow… It sold out while I was looking at it…
Stephan, I had actually decided to just get the RED edition even before they had sold out. I just can’t justify paying $750 for all three. Since all three of the books basically have the same interior it’s the book itself that I’m wanting so I chose the cheapest option. I’m not much of an original art collector (although it’s cool for sure).
